It is a behind-the-back golf simulation game developed and published by Access for the PC (running MS-DOS) in 1992. It was later released for the Mac (under the name Links Pro) in 1993.The sequel to Links: The Challenge of Golf, Links 386 Pro revamps the game’s UI and rendering engine (including support for high-resolution Super VGA graphics) while adding support for higher-quality courses and bonus game options (including split-screen support for multiple views and the option to “record” players for use as pre-recorded opponents). The game’s name is a reference to its updated support for i386 computer architecture, and the game itself was later used as the base for the first three games in the Microsoft Golf series.
